Real estate group with hundreds of Las Vegas-area members changes name

A major commercial real estate organization that counts hundreds of members in the Las Vegas area has officially rebranded, adopting a new name that leaders say better reflects the region's growth and the group's expanding scope. The association, which previously operated under a name tied to its founding decades ago, announced the change this week after a vote by its membership.

The group now goes by the Southern Nevada Commercial Alliance. The shift moves away from a title that many felt was outdated and too narrow for the current market. Officials with the organization stated that the old name no longer captured the full range of services, property types, and professional specialties that the alliance now covers. The Las Vegas commercial real estate scene has diversified significantly in recent years, moving beyond its historical focus to include more industrial, data center, and mixed-use developments.

Members of the alliance include brokers, developers, property managers, and lenders who work across the valley. The new branding effort also includes a fresh logo and a redesigned website. The group plans to use the name change as a springboard to launch new networking events and educational programs aimed at attracting younger professionals into the industry. The executive director emphasized that while the name is different, the core mission of connecting professionals and advocating for the industry remains the same.
